We're in business.

Burned the first test screen tonight. Now it's my turn to get funky in the design room. Who wants a t-shirt?

New Company

Eric and I have been plotting for years and it's starting to come to fruition. Working on designs, website, licenses. We're calling it 13 Star after the fact that we are born and bred Rhode Islanders and RI was the 13th state in the union and part of the original betsy ross 13 star flag. More when it happens.

Edit: I have officially started the website: thirteenstar.com!!

Good Day.

Had one. Found dope apartment with an arbor and concord grape vine. And an Old gas stove - I haven't made pizza in months, I can't wait. I slept great last night for the first time in a while, woke up before Lauren's alarm and made us coffee and eggs. Now she's asleep on the couch and I still feel like Christmas.

This week in Flyer Design.

This weeks offerings include one background image that I enjoyed enough to just live alone on the page.

This week in Flyer Design.

I've been cooped up inside this winter due to all the ice and snow and since I do all my stencil work in the sunny grass i've been parched for creative design juice. I worked just to stay sharp:

Tilt Sift Maker is pretty much the coolest thing ever. I am still wet from the majestic and oddly tiny looking shots achieved by this process but after breaking the effect down to blur/focus/blur image editing I'm sort of disappointed I never tried finding that look via photoshop before.

Here is a test I did of an African city scape (I can't remember where it was - just a large image I was using for a background a few months ago.):
